About Us

Just outside Gatehouse of Fleet, within the enchanting Galloway Dark Skies Park, lies Nether Rusko – a November 2024 acquisition of ours.  A self build renovation combining our own skills and using the resources of local trades.

This idyllic property comprises four traditional Scottish steadings (barns) and a generous wooden pole barn, all embraced by picturesque Scottish hills and forests, with a wealth of local points of interest. Our exciting plans involve creating our family home in one of the barns and transforming the others into charming holiday rentals. 

Already, a portion of our land has been developed into a CAMpRA site, welcoming up to five motorhomes to enjoy overnight stays with breathtaking views, tranquil walks, and energizing bike rides. Envisioning ultimate relaxation, the future holiday rentals will be equipped with cozy log burners and luxurious wood-fired hot tubs, offering guests moments of warmth by the fire or starlit soaks under the pristine night sky.
